It all starts in Bali
The idea of adding recycled glass beads to my creations appeared to me during a trip to Bali.
There, the beaches are flooded with trash. The Balinese have very little access to waste recycling systems and do not have a waste collection system. Not knowing what to do with their trash, they throw it into nature or on the beaches so that the sea carries it away.
As a committed young woman concerned about environmental challenges, it seemed obvious to me to support local Balinese recycling communities.
Buying a piece of jewelry that features recycled glass supports and encourages waste recycling both in Bali, but the aim is to extend it worldwide.

raw recycled glass beads
The recycled glass bead has been cut and polished to give it a pearl shape. The color, however, has not been changed. This is the original color (of the bottle, glass, window, etc.). IT IS NORMAL THAT IT HAS IMPERFECTIONS. That’s what makes it so charming!

reworked recycled glass beads
The recycled glass bead has been remelted and reworked, colors and patterns have been added. Which gives it a brighter appearance than the brute.
